Canadian screen actress popularly known for her character Bo Dennis from Lost Girl. Her first appearance was on CBS' Blood & Treasure, beginning in 2019. In addition, she has appeared on Earthstorm (2006) as well as The Perfect Neighbor (2005). Silk was born Fredericton New Brunswick Canada, her father being Peter Silk who is an academic. His wife Ilkay is a performer, director producer and playwright. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Annas earliest childhood memories include being a spectator to her mother's work while she was in rehearsals for her play. Silk created a variety of commercials when she was young. She earned a Bachelors degree in Arts in 1997 at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas was responsible for two early theatre productions. These were Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1998). Samuel Cooperman, and Levi Levi Cooperman have two children. The actress was in 2009 when she was cast as the main character in Lost Girl. Her performance as Bo along with Lauren as love-making, same-sex couples on Lost Girl was named one of its all-time Favorite TV Couples by CNN and declared the top TV Couple in 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk has an enormous number of followers on social networks due to the show's popularity.
