Heidi Klum was conceived in Bergisch Gladbach, Germany, in June of 1973. Her mother Erna was a hairdresser. Gunther Kum was an executive for the cosmetics industry. Heidi's father worked as a Production Manager for the company 4711. She grew up in her birthplace of Bergisch Gladbach a city of approximately 100,000 inhabitants just 6 miles from Cologne. Former fashion model from Germany has become a TV host and producer, fashion designer, business woman and actress, who lives and works in both the southern part of California as well as Germany.
